Approved: We now have Guidelines for the Responsible Tenure of Land, Fisheries and Forests

I will be writing up some reflections on the negotiations that took place over the last week, but I felt it important to let folks know that last night, at 21:30, the Working Group on the Voluntary Guidelines for the Responsible Tenure of Land, Fisheries and Forests in the Context of National Food Security managed to reach consensus!

The Committee on World Food Security (CFS) will meet in May for an extraordinary Session to adopt them. Work now turns to implementation and to the work of the Working Group on Principles for Responsible Agricultural Investment.
