08 Mar Land Tenure: Case studies and Lessons Learned
As I sit at the FAO analysing the negotiations on the Voluntary Guidelines on the Responsible Tenure of Land, Fisheries and Forests in the Context of National Food Security, a new briefing paper has been released describing some of the lessons learned from two recent experience-sharing events: i) a visit to Niger (and Mali) organised by Oxfam GB and USAID for government and NGO representatives from Ethiopia, Uganda and Somaliland; and ii) the ‘making rangelands secure’ learning route.
