Journal of Peasant Studies: Free articles!

Academic resources can often be hard to access, especially if you are not associated with a university.  The Journal of Peasant Studies is remedying this by releasing three new articles for free as part of the journal’s contribution to policy debates around the UN Committee on Food Security’s negotiations on the Voluntary Guidelines on the Responsible Tenure of Land, Fisheries and Forests in the Context of National Food Security.
You can now access the following articles for free:

  • China’s ‘Developmental Outsourcing’: A critical examination of Chinese global ‘land grabs’ discourse, by Irna Hofman and Peter Ho
  • The gender implications of large-scale land deals, By Julia Berhman, Ruth Meinzen-Dick and Agnes Quisumbing
  • ‘Land grab’ as development strategy? The political economy of agricultural investment in Ethiopia, by Tom Lavers”
