FUN Camps: learning about the environment by having fun

Here is an amazing initiative started by a friend of mine. FUN Society is a dynamic, youth-driven organization dedicated to making learning about the environment and becoming an agent for positive change a fun and rewarding experience.

What are FUN Camps all about:

FUN Camps are the most fun to be found in the summer! Games, field trips, outdoor adventure activities, hikes, swimming, art, music, exploring, friend-making, make your own tee-shirts, journals and more. A great side effect of FUN Camps is learning that being an eco-super hero and a stellar leader is actually so much fun! Come up with your own eco-super hero passion project plan to make the world a better place, make mini solar cars and race them, make smores in your own solar oven, build forts in the woods, get scientific with stream restoration, get your hands dirty in the garden, meet creatures at the beach… and so much more! There are different themes and adventure levels each week to meet the needs of your unique child.
